Join us to play Polo, the Sport of Kings & Queens, Princes & Princesses!
Become part of the community: Polo is synonymous with motivation, team work, communication & sheer determination. As well as the physical benefits & the adrenalin-rush, polo creates camaraderie & an international environment in which to entertain & be entertained.
Few participants have mounted a polo pony before, let alone played a chukker, which provides for unique and memorable experiences.
Polo is a true team sport that relies on team interaction.
Mental focus is required to combine riding skills, the basic polo rules.
In addition, Marrakech Polo Club, overlooks the Atlas Mountains, providing a beautiful location for exercise and fun for all the family!
Details of activities:
- Rules & Tactics: Learn about team tactics, rules and set plays using a board and model men and horses.
- Short sticks: practice the four shots and perfect your polo swing. Using short polo sticks, play a game on your feet to practice team tactics and positional plays.
- Riding/Chukkers: Mount the polo ponies to practice initially the riding, then the hitting of the ball under instruction and close supervision. No previous horse-riding experience required!
Family, group and indiviual lessons can be booked at the academy.
